Welcome to Bryce Kumagai's Page

Hello friends!

Did you know that July 16 will mark the 31st anniversary of AIDS Walk San Francisco? Not just that, but this will mark my 12th year of walking and my 2nd year as a member of the AIDS Walk San Francisco Board of Directors.

This year is particularly important, as many agencies face potential cuts that will directly affect services as well as the potential for millions to be denied access to essential healthcare with HIV, diabetes, heart disease and numerous other “pre-existing conditions.”

The money we raise benefits the following organizations, who all help to protect the most vulnerable in our community:

· Positive Resource Center (the only place for people living with HIV/AIDS or mental health disabilities to get comprehensive benefits counseling and employment services in San Francisco.)

· Project Open Hand (whose mission is to nourish and engage our community by providing meals with love to the sick and the elderly)

· The Golden Compass Program (a program fully funded by AIDS Walk San Francisco for the second year in a row, at San Francisco General’s Ward 86, that will serve both the medical and psychosocial needs of people over 50 living with HIV.)

And more than 40 other Bay Area AIDS service organizations.

Please help me support this important 10k fundraising walk by:

· Making a donation to my fundraising page to help me reach my fundraising goal of $3100, in honor of the 31st anniversary.

· Signing up to participate in this amazing event.

· Simply spreading the word about this amazing event on Sunday, July 16.

Thank you for your continued support and helping to end this epidemic once and for all!
