The HIV CARE Program at A Woman's Place is a one of a kind program, serving HIV positive women, many of whom are trans women of color, exited sex workers, and survivors of domestic violence.

Here at AWP, we provide 6 transitional beds for these women, as we facilitate their access to life-saving primary care.

A Woman's Place has spent years working towards meeting these vulnerable women's special needs. Continuing to support programs like the HIV CARE Program at AWP not only helps change the lives of San Francisco's most marginalized women, but also improves the public health of the city of San Francisco.

This year is my final AIDS Walk with AWP/Community Awareness & Treatment Services, an organization that I have been assigned to as part of my AmeriCorps VISTA service for the last two years. CATS has changed my life, and I have learned so many skills and gained so much insight into the plight of those who struggle on the streets of San Francisco, so it means a lot for me to be able to give back as the CATS' AIDS Walk Team Leader one last time.

Please help me show the homeless of San Francisco some love by supporting me and my organization this year in the San Francisco AIDS Walk! <3
