Today my viral load is undetectable due to the advances in HIV medication. There was a time 5 years ago when the future looked pretty hopeless. For myself as well as countless others we now live with a disease that is not a death sentence. Advocating for those less fortunate is one of the things that makes San Francisco a great place to live. Were it not for the folks at places like Ward 86, I am not sure where I might be.
