First I want to take a minute and thank all of you for your donations in previous years. Your support means a lot to the folks still struggling to gain access to life saving medication. I was diagnosed with HIV in 2011. At the time of my diagnosis I was not sure what to do. Fortunate for me there was Ward 86 at San Francisco General Hospital. It took me about a year to go from 9 T Cells to 700. I know my life was saved by advancing medications and my doctor Sherri Weiser.
I am walking with Team Castro Country Club this year in AIDSWALK 2019. The Castro Country Club has been named a co-beneficiary of the event. What does that mean? It means that 80% of the money our team raises will go directly to the Castro Country Club for program funding.
We have set an ambitious team goal this year of $75,000 and hope you will consider making a contribution.
