It's been a while since I've been actively involved with fundraising efforts. While raising my boys, I became more of a slacktivist, though continuing to contribute to organizations important to my family and me. AIDS Walk San Francisco has been one of the organizations which I have supported since inception in the late 80's.
This year, I walk to honor a dear friend whom I lost to pancreatic cancer. Patrick was a longterm survivor of HIV/AIDS. I walk to honor his resilience, his courage, and our friendship. I walk to honor Robert, Michael, Tom, Steven, Bill, Ricky and so many others I've loved and lost.
Please consider a donation of any amount. My fundraising goal can be met by 60 friends each donating $10. Fun fact: This dinosaur turned 60 recently so, come on - surely there are 60 of you who can gift me $10!
In your comments, please let me know who you've lost or/and honor as a survivor, so I may say their names and honor them alongside you.
Much love!
