Greetings from Palm Springs !
I am raising funds again this year as a virtual walker for the National AIDS Memorial’s team at AIDS Walk San Francisco. Since 1987, AIDS Walk San Francisco has raised $92 million for HIV/AIDS organizations in the Bay Area. And for the past three years, the Grove has been the top fundraising team!
The National AIDS Memorial is a 10-acre national memorial Grove dedicated to all lives touched by AIDS. I am honored to serve as Board Vice-Chair. For over a quarter century the National AIDS Memorial has stood as a marker in history, and will tell the story of AIDS and the AIDS movement to current and future generations, ensuring that we never again repeat the same mistakes.
As a board member, 80% of the funds I raise will directly benefit the National AIDS Memorial, and 20% will benefit other HIV/AIDS organizations. The National AIDS Memorial receives no government funding. AIDS Walk provides a simple way to raise money for the Memorial’s ongoing maintenance and programs, while sending a signal of support in the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS.
I am asking you to help me reach my fundraising goal of $3,000.00—please click the button below. Your support will not only benefit the National AIDS Memorial, but will mean so much to me personally.
We all have organizations and causes that are important to us and to which we prioritize our support. Any amount is greatly appreciated----THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION.
On behalf of the National AIDS Memorial and thousands of Bay Area individuals living with HIV/AIDS, again---THANK YOU !
Board Vice Chair, National AIDS Memorial
