Welcome and thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

Thirty-one years ago, a small group of San Franciscans envisioned a place — a healing garden — which could comfort a city devastated by loss. It would provide a way to heal and remember thousands of friends, family, and loved ones lost to AIDS. They found a 10-acre site in Golden Gate Park. It was neglected and forgotten, much like those who would later be memorialized there.

In September of 1991, hundreds of volunteers gathered and the site's transformation began. In the first few months, over 60 truckloads of debris were removed. Working together, they harnessed grief, anger, and despair and brought new growth and beauty. They transformed death into life — the power of individuals taking action brought profound change.

Today, the National AIDS Memorial is committed to providing, in perpetuity, a place of remembrance so that the lives of people who died from AIDS — and those who fought for justice, provided care, and made discoveries — are not forgotten, and the story of the AIDS movement is known by future generations.

It is in this spirit that we will, once again, raise funds and walk with thousands committed to social justice and ending HIV/AIDS — to remember those we have lost — to support those living with the disease. Please support #TeamAIDSMemorial. Help us reach our $120,000 goal by joining our team or by making a team donation today!

Please pass along to everyone and anyone at your comfort! We had so much momentum and energy from having all the 50,000 panels back "HOME", and that quickly came to a halt, like most events and life plans have during this time. With these changes, I am continuing with events (virtual!) and raising funds to assist the people that rely on The National AIDS Memorial to survive and live. Fortunate to be able to put energy into this for the ones that can't. Please show your support here by making a donation to AIDS Walk San Francisco.

I hope you and yours are well. If there is anything you need... it doesn’t hurt to ask. We are strong and we are here for each other!

Much love and appreciation!
