Below is a picture of Ryan, for whom I work for. Diagnosed at age 13 and fought AIDS-related discrimination in his Indiana community until he died in April 1990, one month before his high school graduation and only months before Congress passed the legislation bearing his name in August 1990 - the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act..
Today I also fight for a cure. For the past 25 years I have been doing this work in one way or another. Again we are co-beneficiaries and what that means that the money we raise will help our most vulnerable.
On Friday, August 23, 2019 I will be meeting Ryan's mom for the very first time. I will get to hear her story in person and I am very excited as this will make all my effort worth while.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Please support me by making a donation here to AIDS Walk San Francisco.
