Dear Friends and Family,
I participate in AIDS Walk San Francisco every year as a part of staff for the National AIDS Memorial.
The National AIDS Memorial is committed to providing, in perpetuity, a place of remembrance so that the lives of people who died from AIDS — and those who fought for justice, provided care, and made discoveries — are not forgotten, and the story of the AIDS movement is known by future generations. Social justice for marginalized people. This is my passion.
For the past three years, ours has been the top fundraising team. 80% of what we raise benefits programs of the National AIDS Memorial. 20% benefits other HIV/AIDS organizations providing prevention programs and direct services. We receive no government funding — this provides the financial support necessary to continue serving our community and nation.
I hope you will consider helping me reach my fundraising goal of $2,500 if you are able.
