Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! This year marks my 20th year of participation in the San Francisco AIDS Walk, as well as my 20th year at the Gladstone Institute of Virology and Immunology, a leading basic science HIV research institute. Thanks to friends, family, and colleagues, I estimate that you have helped me raise approximately $50,000 over these years. Those funds have supported medical care, counseling, and hot meals to people living with AIDS, and HIV prevention efforts, just to name a few. Funds raised through the AIDS Walk are a lifeline to smaller organizations who could not exist otherwise.

As you know, this event and the cause is very personal to me. Like many, I have lost numerous friends, all taken before their time. I walk in memory of Tony Van Osdal, Ed Snodgrass, Jace Bergeron, Jim Thompson, Michael Hyltin, Glenn Smith, Greg Cooper, Hugh Lawrence, Matthew Braun, Rex Jones, and Jay Johnson.
