I hit my $300 goal in one day—thank you so much for the support. But we’re not done yet. Every additional donation makes a real difference, so if you’re able, please keep it going. Let’s see how far we can push this together.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Please support me by making a donation here to AIDS Walk San Francisco.
On July 19th, 2026, I’ll be out walking in the **San Francisco AIDS Walk**—something that’s become deeply meaningful to me.
This year, I’m walking with Team Castro Country Club. The Castro Country Club isn’t just a place—it’s a space where people in the LGBTQ+ recovery community can feel safe, supported, and connected. It’s a place that truly changes lives.
When I first came into the rooms of AA, I felt broken—defeated, unworthy, and honestly unlovable. I didn’t know how to show up for myself yet. But I kept hearing something over and over: *“Let us love you until you are able to love yourself.”*
And they did.
The sobriety community showed me care and acceptance when I couldn’t do it for myself. Over time, that helped me find my footing and rise out of a really dark place. Being part of this walk is one of the ways I get to show up today—with gratitude, and for others who might be where I once was.
Right now, a lot of the resources our community depends on are being stretched or challenged. Support for this walk helps provide recovery programs, health resources, and a sense of belonging for people who need it most in the Bay Area.
I’ve set a goal of **$300**, and I’d truly appreciate any support you’re able to give. No amount is too small—it all adds up.
Thank you for being part of my life and for supporting something that means so much to me.
With gratitude,
Alberto "Albert" Morales
