Hi everyone!
It's weird to say this..but...July is just around the corner.
And, I will be participating in San Francisco's AIDS Walk again this year!

I picked this cartoon for my page because it feels like we are under attack...all the time. I drew it during a time when I was the volunteer coordinator for Quilt monitors at DC displays of the National AIDS Memorial Quilt during the late '80's and early 90's.

I'll never forget those very challenging times, but I sure learned a lot. One thing I know today is that AIDS, just like so many other things, STILL is not over and it feels like we've gone back to the 1980's when it comes to providing support services and health care. Now is NOT the time to back down!

As many of you know I recently completed my six year commitment to serving on the Board of the National AIDS Memorial. It was an honor to be a member of a team that still fights very hard to support people living with HIV and their loved ones. I am continuing to support their work and hope you will join me.
