While the past year has been challenging for so many of our friends and loved ones, I am grateful for the brighter days ahead.
As you may know, I am Co-Chair of the National AIDS Memorial and am so proud of the work we do every day. Over the last year we brought the AIDS Quilt back home to San Francisco, and it is now part of the National AIDS Memorial. In addition, we hosted the World AIDS Day virtual program featuring Drs Fauci and Ho, along with activists and mayors from major cities affected by the most recent pandemic, while sharing lessons learned from the HIV/AIDS pandemic with a National audience. Check it out at aidsmemorial.org. Finally, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the first HIV/AIDS diagnosis and we plan to mark this occasion with a series of memorable programs throughout the year to ensure that the lives of those we've lost are never forgotten and that their stories live on in perpetuity.
These are just some of the many reasons I am asking for your support by making a donation here to AIDS Walk San Francisco.
With great love and gratitude!!
