This year marks the 40th annual San Francisco AIDS Walk — and for me, it’s deeply personal.

Since 2019, I’ve had the honor of serving as Program Manager for the UCSF HIVE Clinic. Our clinic supports pregnant, postpartum people, and families living with HIV. Every day, I witness the strength, resilience, and love within our community — and also the gaps that too often go unseen.

Women, birthing people, and families are still left out of the HIV narrative. They are underfunded, overlooked, and underserved. That has to change.

HIV/AIDS advocacy is reproductive justice. It’s about ensuring people have the resources, care, and dignity they deserve. This is especially true during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

The funds we raise don’t just support programs they go directly toward meeting urgent, real-life needs for families navigating pregnancy, postpartum care, and life with HIV.

Now more than ever, we need to show up. To expand the narrative around HIV care. To invest in these families.

Walk with us. Donate to HIVE clinic today. Share this message.

Because every family deserves support. Every HIVE story matters.
