100% of the finds raised will go towards assuring the Castro Country Club continues to operate in our community, helping other alcoholics and addicts like me remain clean and sober by providing us with a space to gather in the heart of the Castro this, assuring that folks like me have a place to go and be with others like myself that struggle with addiction and HIV as well. Staying sober means the drugs I have to take to survive actually work. If funding for other services connected are gone, I might not be able to take the very expensive drugs it takes to survive.
I’m lucky. I still have coverage and help with drug prices but there are so many who are still without.
We need to put an end to this and that’s why we continue to walk.
