This year's AIDS Walk San Francisco (AWSF) is Sunday, July 21. As I have been doing so since 1990, I'll be walking once again to raise funds to support HIV/AIDS research, advocacy, patient-care, youth, and community health programs and services throughout the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area.

While there have been many advancements in treatment of HIV/AIDS, there still is no cure.
