SFGOTH - 5015

Team SF Goth was born in 1999. Some of Team SF Goth’s members have lost dear ones to the AIDS pandemic, so for many team members over the years, being part of Team SF Goth has been a personal journey as well as a community service. Team SF Goth immediately became a welcome sight at the annual AIDS Walk, with people each year asking to take their picture with us, and asking if they can buy a team shirt.

This year's Team SF Goth AIDSWalk shirts feature artwork by the incredibly talented, kindhearted, and all-around wonderful Brian Vonr, who was a devoted member of the team for many years until we lost him in August 2020. All profits from the sales of the team t-shirts and all other 2023 team merchandise through Teespring will be donated in Brian's memory to San Francisco AIDS Walk.

There is a 10% discount coupon available exclusively for people who will be participating in the AIDSWalk Team this year.

Since 1999, Team SF Goth has helped to raise over $70,000 for the SF AIDS Foundation to benefit multiple organizations around the Bay Area serving those living with HIV/AIDS.

Although the AIDS Walk has been virtual in 2020 and in 2021 due to a new pandemic (SARS-COV-2), Team SF Goth has continued to represent and raise money online, and as of 2022, the Walk resumed as both an in-person and a virtual event. 2023 will be our second year back since the pandemic. As long as AIDS remains uncured, Team SF Goth plans to do our part to raise money and show up each year for the annual AIDS Walk.

Lots of super exciting things happening with SF Goth AIDSWalk! Join us for a live, in-person Comedy Fundraiser with Oliver Graves, Mean Dave and Frida Sierra. Come out and see us on Saturday, July 8th on 12th Street between Folsom and Howard, in front of Eagle Plaza (near the Eagle SF)! Thrilled to announce that Rachel Dossey is this year's newest TEAM LEADER! She will be helping things like putting together fundraising events, and recruiting people to come out and walk with us (or stay home and fundraise! You can virtually walk with us if you can't make it out to Golden Gate Park). Thank you so much Rachel! Still looking for people to walk and fundraise with us for Team SFGoth for AIDSWAlk SF, which takes place on Sunday, July 16 at Robin William's Meadow in Golden Gate Park.
