Welcome to the National AIDS Memorial's AIDS Walk San Francisco (AWSF) Team page.
Thanks to you and your supporters we were the #1 fundraising team for the 7th consecutive time in 2023.
If you would like to join the team we can easily activate your page. You can also join as a Virtual Walker - if you won't be able to attend AIDS Walk San Francisco on July 21, 2024 in person.
YOUR SUPPORT AT WORK - HELP US CONTINUE OUR MEANINGFUL IMPACT:
*AIDS Memorial Quilt - The Quilt travels to more than 500 communities annually, directly touching an estimated 1.5 million people. More than 15 million people have viewed its panels at thousands of displays over the past 37 years.
*AIDS Memorial Quilt - Returned to Mexico City during World AIDS Day 2023 for a weeklong high-impact program.
*National AIDS Memorial Grove Community Volunteer Workdays - Each year, more than 2,000 volunteers give nearly 7,200 hours of time to help maintain and care for the 10-acre Grove. A milestone of 300,000 volunteer hours was recently achieved.
*Pedro Zamora Young Leaders Scholarship - Funded $625,000 in scholarships to 150 students.
*Surviving Voices - Latinx/Hispanic Community and AIDS docuseries will be featured in 2024.
